وَٱلسَّمَآءِ

শপথ আকাশের

By the sky

ذَاتِ

বিশিষ্ট

containing

ٱلْبُرُوجِ

বুরুজ/ গ্রহ-নক্ষত্র

the constellations

(2)

وَٱلْيَوْمِ

এবং দিনের

And the Day

ٱلْمَوْعُودِ

প্রতিশ্রুত

Promised

(3)

وَشَاهِدٍ

শপথ দর্শকের

And (the) witness

وَمَشْهُودٍ

ও যা পরিদৃষ্ট হয়

and what is witnessed

(4)

قُتِلَ

ধ্বংস হয়েছে

Destroyed were

أَصْحَٰبُ

কর্তারা/ অধিপতিরা

(the) companions

ٱلْأُخْدُودِ

গর্তের

(of) the pit

(5)

ٱلنَّارِ

আগুনের

(Of) the fire

ذَاتِ

বিশিষ্ট

full

ٱلْوَقُودِ

(প্রজ্জ্বলিত) ইন্ধন

(of) the fuel

(6)

إِذْ

যখন

When

هُمْ

তারা (ছিল)

they

عَلَيْهَا

তার পাশে

by it

قُعُودٌ

উপবিষ্ট

(were) sitting

(7)

وَهُمْ

এবং তারা (ছিল)

And they

عَلَىٰ

ঐ সম্পর্কে

over

مَا

যা

what

يَفْعَلُونَ

তারা করছিল

they were doing

بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

মু’মিনদের সাথে

to the believers

شُهُودٌ

প্রত্যক্ষকারী

witnesses

(8)

وَمَا

এবং না

And not

نَقَمُوا۟

তারা প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছিল

they resented

مِنْهُمْ

তাদের থেকে (অন্য কারণে)

[of] them

إِلَّآ

এ ছাড়া

except

أَن

যে

that

يُؤْمِنُوا۟

তারা ঈমান এনেছে

they believed

بِٱللَّهِ

আল্লাহর উপর

in Allah

ٱلْعَزِيزِ

পরাক্রমশালী

the All-Mighty

ٱلْحَمِيدِ

প্রশংসিত

the Praiseworthy

(10)

إِنَّ

নিশ্চয়ই

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

যারা

those who

فَتَنُوا۟

নির্যাতন করেছিল

persecuted

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

মু’মিনদের

the believing men

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ

ও মু’মিনাদের (উপর)

and the believing women

ثُمَّ

অতঃপর

then

لَمْ

নি

not

يَتُوبُوا۟

তওবা করে

they repented

فَلَهُمْ

তাদের জন্যে (রয়েছে) তাই

then for them

عَذَابُ

শাস্তি

(is) the punishment

جَهَنَّمَ

জাহান্নামের

(of) Hell

وَلَهُمْ

ও তাদের জন্যে (রয়েছে)

and for them

عَذَابُ

শাস্তি

(is the) punishment

ٱلْحَرِيقِ

দহনের

(of) the Burning Fire

(11)

إِنَّ

নিশ্চয়ই

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

যারা

those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

ঈমান এনেছে

believe

وَعَمِلُوا۟

এবং করেছে

and do

ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

সৎকর্ম

the righteous deeds

لَهُمْ

তাদের জন্য (রয়েছে)

for them

جَنَّٰتٌ

জান্নাত

(will be) Gardens

تَجْرِى

প্রবাহিত হচ্ছে

flow

مِن

হতে

from

تَحْتِهَا

তার নীচ

underneath it

ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ

ঝর্ণাসমূহ

the rivers

ذَٰلِكَ

সেটাই

That

ٱلْفَوْزُ

সাফল্য

(is) the success

ٱلْكَبِيرُ

মহা

the great

(12)

إِنَّ

নিশ্চয়

Indeed

بَطْشَ

পাকড়াও

(the) Grip

رَبِّكَ

তোমার রবের

(of) your Lord

لَشَدِيدٌ

অবশ্যই কঠিন

(is) surely strong

(13)

إِنَّهُۥ

নিশ্চয়ই তিনি

Indeed He

هُوَ

তিনিই

He

يُبْدِئُ

অস্তিত্ব দান করেন

originates

وَيُعِيدُ

ও তিনি পুনরাবর্তন ঘটান

and repeats

(14)

وَهُوَ

এবং তিনিই

And He

ٱلْغَفُورُ

ক্ষমাশীল

(is) the Oft-Forgiving

ٱلْوَدُودُ

প্রেমময়

the Most Loving

(15)

ذُو

অধিকারী

Owner (of)

ٱلْعَرْشِ

আরশের

the Throne

ٱلْمَجِيدُ

সম্মানিত

the Glorious

(16)

فَعَّالٌ

সম্পন্নকারী

Doer

لِّمَا

যা

of what

يُرِيدُ

তিনি চান

He intends

(17)

هَلْ

কি

Has

أَتَىٰكَ

তোমার কাছে পৌঁছেছে

come to you

حَدِيثُ

বৃত্তান্ত

(the) story

ٱلْجُنُودِ

সৈন্যদের

(of) the hosts

(18)

فِرْعَوْنَ

ফিরআউনের

Firaun

وَثَمُودَ

ও সামূদের

and Thamud?

(19)

بَلِ

বরং

Nay!

ٱلَّذِينَ

যারা

Those who

كَفَرُوا۟

অবিশ্বাস করেছে

disbelieve

فِى

মধ্যে (রত)

(are) in

تَكْذِيبٍ

মিথ্যারোপে

denial

(20)

وَٱللَّهُ

অথচ আল্লাহ

But Allah

مِن

হতে

from

وَرَآئِهِم

তাদের অলক্ষ্য

behind them

مُّحِيطٌۢ

(তাদেরকে) পরিবেষ্টনকারী

encompasses

(21)

بَلْ

বরং

Nay!

هُوَ

তা

It

قُرْءَانٌ

কুর’আন

(is) a Quran

مَّجِيدٌ

সম্মানিত

Glorious

(22)

فِى

মধ্যে

In

لَوْحٍ

ফলকের

a Tablet

مَّحْفُوظٍۭ

সুরক্ষিত

Guarded
